Since its foundation, The Cardoner Project has sought to engage communities overseas in undertakings that seek to express a recognition and respect for excluded, and disadvantaged groups. The Guatemala experience begins in Guatemala City where we will be working with the students from Boys Hope and Girls Hope an organisation that helps educate and house disadvantaged children. Whilst there we will undertake a variety of service experiences that promote reflection and help with the education of the students.

We will then travel to Mayan villages to work with the communities on service projects and visit Lake Atitlan and Antigua.

Throughout this experience we will work closely with the local communities and gain a valuable insight into the history and the people of Guatemala.
