This Experience begins in Kathmandu where we undertake a variety of service and cultural activitie. Each morning you'll work with Mother Teresa's order of nuns: the Sister's of Charity in their home for the destitute at Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest site in Nepal.

In the afternoons, Fr Greg Sharkey, a Jesuit expert on Buddhism, will be your guide through the complex history, culture and politics of Nepal.

After this service experience we embark on the physically challenging, yet awe inspiring trek high into the Himalayas to visit a small Jesuit-run school for Sherpa children, before returning to Kathmandu. Each night is spent with generous hospitality of locals in tiny villages, where you will stay in basic accommodation know as tea lodges.
