The Two Wolves Domestic
Serve for 3, 6 or 12 months with one of our domestic partner communities in the Northern Territory, Australia. Volunteers assist the local schools in various roles and participate as active members of their host community.
Both Wadeye and Nauiyu are available for placements in 2023.
*Wadeye is not possible for the second half of 2022 due to safety precautions.

How do our Volunteers assist:
Both schools will look at the volunteers’ resumes to cater to what the volunteer can offer.
Possible roles include:
- Working with children with disabilities
- Supporting teachers in classrooms, sports fields, excursions (fishing, etc.)
- Working with the nurse
- Driving - picking up and dropping off students
Wadeye (Port Keats)
Located 420km south-west of Darwin, Wadeye is one of Australia's largest remote Indigenous communities with 3000 people from 20+ clans living in the community.
Our volunteers assist at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thamarrurr Catholic School, assisting the community for a 3, 6 or 12 month placement.
Nauiyu (Daly River)
Nauiyu, on the banks of the Daly River, is located some 250kms south of Darwin. Daly River, known by the local people as the Green River, has over 450 residents with 10 different language groups. The traditional owners of the land are the Malak Malak people.
Volunteers will be stationed at Saint Francis Xavier School, a vibrant Catholic school for the Indigenous Community at Nauiyu, assisting for a 3, 6 or 12 month placement.
